Landscape Gardener

We are looking for hands-on Landscape Gardener to join our small team in Napier. This person will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor landscapes, gardens, lawns, and recreational areas to ensure they are attractive, healthy, and safe.

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, gardens, lawns, and grounds;
• Mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing vegetation;
• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment; maintaining irrigation systems;
• Removing rubbish and garden waste; Performing basic landscaping tasks; and ensuring grounds remain clean, safe, attractive, and well-presented;
• Adheres to health and safety procedures while supporting the overall upkeep of outdoor facilities and green spaces.

No experience needed — full training provided.

What we are looking for:

• Experience with planting, pruning, mowing, spraying and general garden maintenance.

• Experience in transplanting trees

• Confidence operating gardening equipment and machinery safely

• A proactive attitude and pride in producing quality work

• The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Currently residing in Hawke's Bay -- Hastings or Napier

• Eligibility to work in NZ with full working rights.
